While travelling up north I have decide to pay a visit to the Angel of the North.  Awesome statue that stands over standing 66 feet (20 metres) tall, with wings measuring 178 feet (54 metres) across.  It’s a testament on what man can achieve and believed to be the largest statue in the world.

Convoy

Travelling up north on the A1 and saw a convoy of armored vehicles carrying tanks there had to be at least 20 of them, awesome sight.  I would hate to P*ss these guy off….

Holiday

I was thinking to myself I have 2 weeks left holiday to take, work was getting a bit thick.  So said what the “f**k” I will go on holiday and spend some of that money have been saving for a rainy day.

So I have decided to take a holiday up in Scotland for 2 weeks by staying with relatives and travelling around and taking in the sights.

Silverstone

For my brother birthday present I took him and myself to Silverstone to watch the Avon Tyres Race.  I have never been to an event at Silverstone for a race like this other that for the F1 race, awesome cars on display.

I was able to get up close to the cars I can only dream about with my pay cheque, also I was able to get into the pit garages of the cars and speak to the crews up close.

The only disappointment to the was the Aston Martins had to retire due to engine failure bugger, but hell the sound they make is incredible.  I want one now so badly.........

Best Mates Birthday
